Service Programs
1.Affiliated Sunrise Development Center
・Day care program: Supports in basic working skill training, rehabilitation, physical fitness, health maintenance, home living, community integration, leisure & social activities.
2.Outreach services program
・Cleaning job at National Chiao Tung University: Providing counselling, cleaning job at National Chiao Tung University (including the public area cleaning of Engineering Building 5 and the janitor’s job of Information Technology Service Center).
・Small-scale community workshop for disabled people (Guangfu / Xida): To improve their abilities and increase their life experience through work activities such as manual egg rolls, simple sewing, environmental maintenance, simple planting, and item sorting to prepare for self-reliance.
・Community day care service for disabled people (Cixiang workshop): Six service domains: Self-care abilities, health promotion, interpersonal interaction, social skills, community adaptation, family support. Enrich the users’ life experience and promote/maintain their all aspects of development by accepting these services.
3. Community Living Services
・Multiple support in the community living service for persons with intellectual disabilities:

・Multi-support community living service meeting: To discuss and evaluate the applicant's service suitability and service recommendations in the meeting.
4. Social Service
・Career transition and case management service for persons with physical and intellectual disabilities in eastern district
(1) Case management
(2) Adult Guardianship / Person under curatorship (curator)
The statutory service for identification of persons with intellectual disabilities, including counsels in behavior problems, life reconstruction, and home visits.
(3) Program：positive behavior support
・Early intervention and case management service for children with developmental delays:
(1) Case management
(2) The home-based early intervention program in Hsinchu city
(3-1) Family support activity
(3-2) Professional courses or workshops.
・Early Intervention Program: To evaluate the comprehensive development and formulate learning goals for children, provide strategies and techniques for parents to guide their children in daily routine and various learnings.
5. Rehabilitation And Medical Care Program
・Physical therapy: Providing assessment, advice and training services for the motor function, gait pattern and posture control.
・Occupational therapy: Providing training strategies in sensation, sensory integration, motor function and ergonomics, and the use of assistive devices.
・Evaluation and strategies of assistive devices: Leisure activity Camps on weekends or holidays, Horticultural treatment, Life and Death Education and various activities
・Dental Clinics and health care: Providing dental clinics, oral health promotion, health examination, flu vaccine injections and medical care etc., to improve the oral hygiene and physical health of people with intellectual disabilities.
・Nutrition and Meals: Providing individualized nutrition assessment and meals for users to maintain good health.
・Postpone / decrease the aging process: Providing aging assessment, health care, and interventions according to the needs of the service users.
6. The Activities of Lifelong Learning & Individual Achievement
・Education program/course: Providing courses to enhance personal knowledge and abilities：Health education, Leisure activity Camps on weekends or holidays, Horticultural treatment, Life and Death Education and various activities.
・Personal achievements / entitlements & Implementing CRPD: Implementing CRPD through various activities such as selection of lunch menu and activities, committee for lunch menus, rights commission, Christmas performance, national games for the disabled, game, a road running race, rice ball game, activity of Mid-autumn festival, sports competition, parent-child interaction activities, competition of oral-motor coordination.
7. Community Interaction Programs
・Participating activities invited by communities
・Performance in community / volunteer service: Caring for underprivileged groups / Beach cleansing / Life education / Percussion performance
・Community Involvement: Learning through attending community activities, leisure activities, and one-day trip.
・Interaction with other groups: Including schools, companies, communities, and social groups.
・Visits / Internship
Visit: Citizens, the schools, social welfare organizations
Internship: The staffs of care centers for persons with intellectual /multiple disabilities and the interns.

・Parents lectures: According to the needs of parents and families.
・Parents committee conference: Parents’ meeting, and committee council
・Physical fitness assessment for the parents: Body composition evaluation and physical fitness assessment.
・Publication: Article publication & leaflets
・Transition service: Into the nursery school / Into the primary school / Transfer to the other care centers.

・Subsidy: Subsidizing families with low-incomes.
